National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum Privacy Statement

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement, which is part of the Terms of Use, describes the information we collect through Our Site, how we use it, and how you can make choices. We collect personally identifiable information about you ("Personal Information") when you voluntarily provide it to us.   • Join as a member of the BHOF and sign up for an Account
  • Make a donation to the BHOF
  • Sign up to participate in a BHOF event

  • Apply to be an intern for one of our programs

Our third-party Service Provider may also collect credit card and related information when you make purchases, membership payments, or donations. Only selected information (e.g., name and last four digits of the credit card) is shared with us.

We will use your Personal Information for the purposes for which you provided it. We may also send you communications regarding our mission, programs, events, and opportunities that may be of interest. For fundraising purposes, we may combine and use your Personal Information with information previously collected from you and from publicly available data.

We (and our Service Providers, such as Google Analytics and Crazy Egg) collect anonymous information about visitors to Our Site through cookies and similar technologies. We use this information to analyze site usage and improve the quality of Our Site, services, and content. Anonymous information is not used to identify visitors individually.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it. Parents or guardians may contact us to request deletion.

Data Security and Breach Notification

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information in accordance with the New York SHIELD Act. These measures include employee training, access controls, and secure data storage practices.
